Please remember that the main goal is to have fun so if you see a combination that you think looks fun just go for it, you will eventually unlock them all so theres no harm in having fun along the way. Historical brawl is different in two senses: it lets you put any card from any set in the deck and now the deck is 100 cards instead of 60.Ĭhoosing the same deck multiple times wont do anything since the cards already got added to your collection so i would start with trying to get all the different options so you can quickly get a big collection to try to make your own deck later on.
My favorite is a historic one Trelassara, Moon Dancer. I almost think they encourage better deck building. Even the uncommon ones can be really fun. Planeswalkers can serve as commanders as well. When in deck building mode select brawl and it will show you all your collected Legendary Creatures. It’s always fun to see what people put together. It’s a good way to learn different cards and different strategies.Ī lot of the bulk commons uncommons and rares that you wouldn’t use in a standard deck somehow become better in the format. You will see a mix of very competitive experienced players and people just started out scrounging what little cards they have. Your deck has to be the commanders colors. Sometimes you’ll leave it in the graveyard and just use raise dead or something because that’s cheaper than paying the command zone cost. When they die you can send them back to the command zone and they may be recast from there, but then when you do so they cost 2 more mana for each time they’ve died. You choose a legendary creature as your commander who is outside the deck and can cast from there. Mono color decks don’t need command tower. It is the standard card pool with command tower and arcane signet as cards that basically go in every deck because they add mana of any of your commanders colors. Regular Brawl is 60 singleton no more than one copy of a card.
